Building a giant fountain can be done in just 2-3 hours. I’ve done it many times and I'm confident that you can do it too! Stand out with triple fountain kits that add curb appeal, impress neighbors and include everything you need, plus bonus LED's that light up the night.
These are not plastic fountain rocks! At Concrete Giants they build each fountain with a 1” thick metal reinforced cement shell. No replicates, each column is 100% unique, built to look and feel like rock! The lightweight design is a money saving opportunity that eliminates the need to rent expensive machinery or hire contractors. These triple fountain kits are also available in custom designs, colors and require 50% less digging than similar fountain kits.
My Checklist for a Fast & Easy Setup:
Save a copy of my fountain checklist above. Keep reading for a more in depth look into each step.
1. Location: Choose a 4’x4’ area that's diggable. I recommend choosing a spot outside a window so you can enjoy your fountain from inside and outside. The front door entryway and backyard socializing areas are very popular.
2. Fountain Kit: Choose a Concrete Giants triple fountain kit. They offer several water features available in custom colors. Choose between 38” and 48” high, Large or Xtra Large. The larger the space, the larger the water feature should be in order to maintain the strong presence of a centerpiece. Each kit includes everything, simply choose a style you enjoy. They are currently offering free shipping to your home.
3. Plan Ahead: A few things you can do while waiting for your fountain kit to arrive:
Contact 811 “call before you dig” in your state. A free service to locate any underground lines. Confirm a safe spot to dig.
Visit a local rockery for 1" river rocks to cover the basin. You might find flagstone or other large rocks to frame the fountain.
Get digging done early. Your first shovel dig is just 4’x4’x6” deep. If on a slope, build up one side to get a level ground. If the ground is packed tightly you may need a pickaxe to break it up.
4. Instructions: When the fountain kit arrives, spend time reading through the installation guide as you enjoy your morning coffee. It’s a quick read with a few pages that include photo examples of each step. You got this!
5. Installation: On installation day, follow the step-by-step installation guide until you are complete. If you run into any problems you can even call them for help. Test everything to make sure it’s running smoothly. The vault door allows you to easily access the pump and adjust the water flow.
6. Final Touches: Cover the basin deck with river rocks. Surround the fountain with mulch, plants and flowers to contrast the columns with bright colors. We recommend using a pump timer for the best experience.
I’ve installed many of these kits for local clients and do it regularly in just a couple of hours. These are perfect for DIY homeowners or landscapers who want to make money offering installations like I do. I hope you found the information here helpful.
