Each fountain kit includes a comprehensive installation manual. For optimal results, we recommend reading through the manual thoroughly before starting your installation.
Before Your Shipment Arrives
Choose a suitable location for your fountain kit, ensuring a 4'x4' diggable area is available.
If you plan to install a below-ground basin, you can get a head start by digging a 4'x4' space, 6-7" deep. Congratulations, you've completed the most labor-intensive part!
Installation Overview
The Better Basin system can be installed in-ground or above-ground using constructed supporting walls. Our visual manual provides detailed measurements and depths for a successful installation.
Once the basin is in place, the manual will guide you through the step-by-step installation of the decorative fountain components.
Installation Time
Estimated installation time: 2-6 hours, depending on the installation type and ground environment.
Many of our customers complete a basic installation in just 2-3 hours using hand tools. We're confident you'll find the process straightforward and rewarding!
Electrical and Water Requirements
One outlet is required for the pump, with an additional outlet available for upgrades like our 3 LED lighting kit. Consider adding a Power Box Timer at checkout to simplify installation and maintenance.
No water hookup is required. Simply fill the basin with a water hose, and the pump will recirculate the water.
